So a few years back, it was Forever 21, before that it was Vera Bradley, there's a few new sweet spots popping up much more frequently in various regions, so make sure to get these new boutiques on your fashion radar!
1. Jessie James- I wandered into this adorable boutique during a shopping trip in Hoboken one afternoon and immediately, I didn't know how I ever lived without it. They're so new that they won't have an online store until the fall, but they have two locations, one in Hoboken and one in the West Village. In shopping here, you're looking at a more casual line, earthy, natural tones, with a charming, classy twist. Their stuff is a must see next time you're on either side of the Hudson!
2. Free People- Ok, so Free People isn't exactly new, but they're popping up a lot more frequently. When shopping here, the style is exactly what the name suggests- this is a store for the free-spirited fashionista in us all. They have great, airy, whimsical looks and an excellent collection of accessories.
3. Anthropologie- Another franchise that's been around for a few years at this point, but that many people have never even heard of. Here, you're looking at a younger feeling version of the J.Crew country club style. Think the high waisted skirt and t-shirt, but amped up with fun prints and applique.
4. Francesca Collections- We featured this boutique in a post earlier on in the spring, but this is just such a fantastic store, we couldn't resist telling you about it twice! When shopping here, the hardwood flooring and the wall full of picture frames and knick knacks will make you feel like you're at a trunk show in your girlfriend's home. This store provides the perfect wardrobe for day occasions, bridal showers, baby showers, lunch engagements etc. Also, their bags seem to be genuine leather, and are totally gorgeous and most of them are under $60!
