Perfect Ideas For Valentine's Day

Here it is... Valentine's Day is right around the corner, literally... For those of us who aren't sure what to do for that special someone, Monday's going to come faster than any Monday has in a long while. I try to stray away from the cliche and do something different, but ideas can be hard to come up with especially if you're like me and you're unsure if you even buy into the whole idea of this "Hallmark Holiday"... I've found a couple of ideas that are new, exciting, and don't totally make me want to throw up for being so corny...

Wine- being the bartender's girlfriend, a good bottle of anything is always a sure bet, especially if it's something new that we haven't tried before. Try out a new bottle together this Valentine's day... the best part about this one? There's a bottle for every budget!

Tickets- even if it's a country music concert 4 months from now, tickets for a great show or event provide you too with a guaranteed opportunity to spend some time together in the future.

Trips- I know it sounds like this one could get expensive, but I found airline tickets from Jet Blue to Florida for $80 each way, that's a great price for a weekend get-away!

Something you know he needs- his sneakers are falling apart? His gym membership expires next week? He hates walking out to start his car in the AM and has been eyeing that remote starter for months? I know it may sound un-romantic, but a gift like this shows that you're attentive, you're apart of their everyday life, and you know them enough to know what they need... and trust me, whatever it is, it'll be a lot more useful than the roses that are going to die by Wednesday.
