Amp Up Your Skin

I stumbled across this awesome article today about the best ways to amp up your skin's natural glow. You'd be shocked how many of these don't involve breaking the bank with Botox, but rather making little changes to your diet and vitamins regimen.

First, the article suggested many ways that altering your diet can make your skin clearer and more radiant. It suggested eating an orange each day, because all foods rich in vitamin C were linked to less likelihood of wrinkles and more moisturized skin. It also suggested, "eating for color", because this ensures a multitude of antioxidants in your diet. The article reads, "RealAge doctor, Michael Roizen, MD, coauthor of YOU: Staying Young, that means loading up on all the colorful vegetables and fruits you can manage, plus green tea. "If you avoid saturated and trans fats, added sugars and syrups, and any grain that's not 100 percent whole—foods that age you both inside and out," he says, "you can eat almost anything else."

Other diet changes such as forsaking strict dieting for more moderate weight loss tracks or intaking more Olive Oil ( It's great for your hair, skin, and nails and tastes AMAZING!), and taking a fish oil pill each day, will keep you looking youthful.

Finally keep in mind that being high-strung is often associated with early aging, so take this tip for avoiding stress, get organized. The best way to do that is with a gorgeous handmade journal from Caradidi!
